ABOUT our FIRM

Founded in 1989 by Virginia Tech graduate Charles Moore, Moore Architects, PC is a full-service architectural firm rooted in thoughtful, client-centered design. Officially established under its current name in 2002, the firm has since grown into an eight-person team based in Falls Church, Virginia.

For over 30 years, we’ve delivered innovative, well-crafted architecture tailored to each client’s needs. Our work spans all phases of design—from schematic concepts to construction documents and administration—with a hands-on approach that extends through interior design.

While our practice is predominantly residential, we specialize in custom homes, whole-home renovations and additions, and historic preservation. We’ve completed over 400 residential projects throughout Northern Virginia—including Falls Church, Arlington, Alexandria, and Great Falls—as well as in Washington, D.C., Maryland, and in states across the country, including California, Oregon, Florida, Michigan, and North Carolina.

Our work has been widely recognized by the American Institute of Architects (DC, Northern Virginia, and Virginia Society chapters), the Washington Architectural Foundation, Arlington County’s Preservation Design Awards, and numerous publications such as Fine Homebuilding, Southern Living, Remodeling Magazine, and Custom Home.
